FOPA SCHOLARSHIP ASSISTANCE FOR FOP CHILDREN

The State Fraternal Order of Police Associates has a Scholarship Assistance program for children of FOP members. A parent or legal guardian must be a per-capita paying member in good standing of the Fraternal Order of Police of Ohio and be either active, retired or disabled. Children of a deceased parent who was a member in good standing at the time of death are also eligible.

The scholarship is awarded on a competitive basis of scholastic merit, economic need and goals in life. The total amount of the scholarship is $4,000 payable in eight installments over a four year period as long as the student is enrolled in an accredited college or university. At least one scholarship is awarded annually.

Applications must be completed and postmarked NO LATER THAN MAY 1st to be considered.
