Posted by alan.mefferd in General

Thanks to Meijers for their assistance and support again this year to make our FOP Cops and Kids Christmas Shopping Event another success.

Thanks also to Jim Sherrick and Barbers Give Bikes for  providing the new bicycles to the kids and to the Lima Rotary Club for the helmets.

Thank you also to the following:

RTA for providing two busses and two volunteer drivers for transporting the children to Meijer, TJ’s Pizza for providing the pizza for the party, The FOPA members who helped with all of the wrapping and other behind-the-scenes work, Allen County Sheriff’s Office for their donation from “No-Shave November”, The Sand Trap Foundation Golf Outing, Kohl’s Department Store, Tri-State Gun Club, Horizon Networking Professionals, Allen County Special Deputies in conjunction with Dominion East Ohio Gas, and the many, many people who donated time or money for this cause. Thanks to all who supported us and made it possible. Because of you, 85 children in 55 families from 19 Lima-Allen County schools will now have a Christmas that they would otherwise not have had.
