Lima Exchange Club Law Enforcement Officer of the Year

Posted by alan.mefferd in General

This year, the Lima Exchange Club resurrected and renamed the Law Enforcement Officer of the Year Award (2017) and presented it at the Annual Lima Lodge #21 Police Memorial Service. In honor of the founder of the award, it has been renamed the Jack Somerville Award. The award will be presented each year at the Memorial and the plaque will be housed permanently in the Lodge Hall.

The first recipient of the re-named award went to LPD Det. Sgt. Paula Strickler for her work during the past year in elder crimes… protecting those that cannot protect themselves against those that prey on the elderly. Well done, Paula and Congratulations from all of us.
