The next meeting of FOP #21 and FOPA #8 will be held on Tuesday November 21, 2017 and is Officer Nomination Night.

Per the vote taken at the November 2106 meeting, the meeting will begin at 5:30 pm with the dinner following at 6:30 p.m. Social time will immediately follow the dinner. This allows those with small children at home to be home at a decent hour and still be able to participate in the meeting of their lodges.

FOPA 52-Gun Raffle

The fifth round drawings began on Wednesday April 6, 2016 and are based on Ohio’s Evening Pick 3 Lottery Game. Look at the page on the right (FOPA 52-Gun Raffle – Round 5) to see a list of the winners each week. Only 1,000 numbers, from 000 to 999 were available, and the winning numbers are again based on the Wednesday Evening Ohio Lottery Pick 3 Game. Winners each week are featured on here:

Tickets for the next round are available from FOPA and FOP members.  The first drawing is Wednesday, April 5, 2017.

The State Fraternal Order of Police Associates has a Scholarship Assistance program for children of FOP members. A parent or legal guardian must be a per-capita paying member in good standing of the Fraternal Order of Police of Ohio and be either active, retired or disabled. Children of a deceased parent who was a member in good standing at the time of death are also eligible.

The scholarship is awarded on a competitive basis of scholastic merit, economic need and goals in life. The total amount of the scholarship is $4,000 payable in eight installments over a four year period as long as the student is enrolled in an accredited college or university. At least one scholarship is awarded annually.

Applications must be completed and postmarked NO LATER THAN MAY 1st to be considered.
